I took two years off of blogging, passed my oral exams, failed to come up with a dissertation proposal, and am now teaching a class that can’t possibly have anything to do with my dissertation. I spent my time away from blogging by crypto-blogging elsewhere, but as that slowed down, so did I.
And now I’m back. I blame this on the facts that Jonah Goldberg has a stupid book out and far too many people are talking far too much shit about The Wire even though the season is not even a third done. Yes, those are, in reverse order, my next two posts.
